In Japan, children work at a horrendous pace. Once they enter the school
system, they do not know what it is to be a child anymore and hardly have
time to play. Even Saturday is a school day.

In a recent survey in a Japanese school, the answer to one of the questions
asked was a real shock to the teachers. To the inquiry "Are you tired?" 80
percent of the Primary School children answered, "Yes!" 98 percent of the
Junior High School children replied, "Yes!"

If that is true of these children, maybe about 100 percent of the High
School children and grown-ups will possibly admit "We are tired, stressed out and
in desperate need of rest!"

"Life is one long process of getting tired!" someone said. Most people are
carrying incredible burdens and need assistance so that they can rest. The
problem is that people so often go to the wrong places to unwind and relax.

There is just one solution to true lasting rest. A lifelong commitment to
Jesus Christ!

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy
burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you,
because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For
my
yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." Matthew 11:28
